So I’m sick, but I really only have myself to blame. Whilst the flu I have is a nasty mother, the boozing and staying up late really haven’t helped my case. It was totally worth it though.

In my ill state I still managed to check out Architecture in Helsinki on Sunday night @ The Metro. It was an all ages gig which was interesting – on one hand it was handy because it meant that while we were at the pub until almost ten, we could easily make our way to the front because nerdy indie teenagers obviously have no strength. On the other hand I think someone cut my arm with their braces…

So here are some photos I took there – quality isn’t tops so apologies:

And here’s one of their songs just about everyone who is anyone gets a kick out of…

Architecture in Helsinki – Heart it Races

And while I’m focusing on Australian music, here are a few more tracks you may be interested in…

Clare Bowditch & the Feeding Set – When the Lights Went Down
Angus & Julia Stone – Just A Boy
PNAU – Baby
Teenager – Pony [In case you're unfamiliar with Teenager, it was Nick from PNAU's side project... they may have imploded due to PNAU's recent popularity but I was lucky enough to see them a few times and they were awesome. Definately worth a listen.]
